June 3. Friday. 6:00 pm. Protégé Gala. Small dance show, a short program with young local talent, some of the finalists from Youth America Grand Prix, YouTube sensations, and some of the Gala de Danza professional dancers. $30 UDS. All audience. Spanish and English.

June 4. Saturday. 6:00 pm. Gala de Danza. Dance show with international professional dancers choreographed by Josie Walsh. Tickets $100 and $50 USD. Spanish and English.

International and local artists and bands. The stages will be at the principal points of downtown San Jose. Free. This is a biggie, the celebration of the first day of summer. 


May, Jun and July. Saturdays. 7:00 pm. Cultural Saturdays at Casa de Cultura. Every Saturday a different show of a different activity. Jazz and hip hop, Arabic dance, salsa dance and more. Spanish, but come on, it’s dance and dance knows no language barrier. 20 pesos donation.

Every Tuesday. 8:00 pm. Documentary Movie Club. Every Tuesday a different documentary about human issues and wild life. Spanish, sometimes in English. Free
