  1. How come this web site is all changed? I liked it the way it was. I’m clicking here, but there better be a darned good explanation.
We’re trying to make a living here, and it’s tough to do when we’re giving away our product. We’re real sorry, but we just can’t continue to give the site away for free and still have the resources to do a good job of bringing you the news of Southern Baja. We hope you will understand and dig into your pockets for the paltry amount we are asking to support our efforts. We are now charging a small fee to view the current edition.

  2. How can I save my copys of the Gringogazette?
To save your copies of the gringogazette for future reading, it is recommended that you login to your account while it is still active, and then read the "printable pdf version." This version is a portable data format ( PDF ) and when it is fully open in your computer, done loading, you can simply click on the icon in the upper left that looks like a Floppy Disk, to "Save" the file to your computer. Once the file is saved on your computer you can then read it anytime you like.

  3. The cost is only $6 for 3 months, $13 for 6 months, or $26 for 1 year. That’s only a buck an issue. And we’re still letting you read past issues for free.

  4. What happens if I can't login?
Check your username and password. You should have received an email with your account details. Our system is case sensitive, so if you capitalized your username or password, make sure you use capitals with you login information.

It's also possible that you might have missed the signup page. It is located here: http://www.gringogazette.com/secure/register.php. Fill in the appropriate information and you will have no troubles logging in.

If you still can't login, please send an email to: subscribe@gringogazette.com. We will reply to you within 24 hours.

  5. I still can't login? What can I do now?
This next tip will cure most login problems.
In internet explorer, click on tools menu, then internet options. You will get the following ( click here to see screen capture)
click delete files, clear history, and delete cookies Press ok. then close and open explorer. Sometimes when you try the wrong password, or combination too many times, IE doesn't let the page forget it. This will clear it out, and let you go forward with a fresh connection.
It should work after that, just try logging in again with your login and password ( remember they are case sensitive )

  6. Why does it say my accounts expired (no issues available)?
When you have created an account, you will have no time available as you need to purchase time. Click on the button that says "Click Here to Purchase More Future Issues". Once your card is approved, you will be emailed a receipt and you will see a verification of your purchase on screen. Once the payment has successfully gone through, you will gain instant access.

  7. Why does it say "FRAUD" after entering my credit card number?
You may have entered your credit card number twice and our security system will not accept this. Try back again in an hour.

  8. How can I renew my subscription?
Within your account details there is a link that says: "My Account". If you click on this link, there is an option to renew your subscription. And why wouldn’t you renew?

  9. How can I cancel my subscription?
Unfortunately, you can't cancel your subscription. You will just have to let it expire.

  10. I have my head up my ass and have lost my password, what should I do?
We can send it to you again, but it must go to the email address that we have on file for you. Click here to access the "forgotten password" page.

  11. Is your credit card processing secure?
Trust us. We only look flakey. We’ve been doing this for 12 carefree years now, and haven’t robbed anybody yet.
