artpics02.jpgThe Annual Chabad Chanukah Candle Lighting is expected to bring in quite a crowd this year. With hundreds of tourists and locals around this Holiday Season, the demand for cultural awareness has spread from lighting the local holiday menorah lights in front of the Cabo San Lucas Puerto Paraiso Mall, all the way to San Jose Del Cabo’s Famous Art Walk. Rabbi Benny and his wife Sonia continue to spread the story of Chanukah while donating holiday gifts to needy children in the local barrios.

artpics01.jpgThese philanthropists have inspired not only members of the Cabo Jewish Center to participate, but have opened the hearts of local businesses professionals and community members to donate time, gifts, and money to make these educational and charitable events possible.

Thanks to the generosity of our local stores, we have acquired jelly filled donuts, a life size Menorah, and this years super raffle is filled with many awesome prizes. Bring your family, bring some friends, and bring a few gifts for the less fortunate.

No, you don’t have to be Jewish to come and celebrate with your receptive community. Enjoy the holiday spirit with lights, sound, and yummy treats. There will be an entertaining juggling show along with arts and crafts for the kids. It’s all part of this years amazing out door extravaganza! Join in and you may be the lucky winner of an XXXXX, Oops! I almost gave it away... You have to show up to participate in the drawing.

So mark your calendars; Thursday, Dec. 10th at the San Jose Del Cabo Art Walk, Sunday, Dec. 13th at The Puerto Paraiso Mall on the Cabo Marina. Interested in learning about the Chabad? If you would like to contribute or become one of the event’s generous sponsors please email: info@JewishCabo.com.
