Blanca Almost A No Show

The Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), stood at the ready with 200 extra bucket trucks to quickly fix any downed power poles wiped out by Blanca, which didn’t even enjoy the status of a hurricane by the time it reached us; it had been demoted to the lowly status of a tropical storm. To we who are hurricane Odile survivors, Blanca was a summer breeze with a little spritz in the air. Well, OK, it was more than that, but not a big deal.

There were some power outages, but by 12 hours post Blanca, all power was restored.
